Engineering Geologist (CEG)

We are seeking an Engineering Geologist (CEG) to come on board full time.

The qualified candidate preferably resides in Los Angeles County.

The candidate should have at least 5 years experience and the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Geology

• State of California Certified Engineering Geologist License

• Experience in: site characterization; logging of exploratory trenches, small and large diameter boreholes (including downhole logging); geologic mapping and development of geologic cross-sections; aerial photograph interpretation; and fault studies.

• Excellent technical writing skills. Adept at using Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Project management skills including budgeting, field exploration planning & organization, staff supervision, and client relations.

• Valid California Driver's License and vehicle.

Candidate should expect to perform a combination of field investigation, construction observation, and technical report preparation.

Hourly rate is commensurate with experience.
